exactly where we were, in Muang Ngam. two German, we had met in Laos, have told us about a guy who slept in a rented place bamboo hut. live in this village on leave. this is a bergvoelkchen, Coming originally from Tibet, which over the years moved on to Burma and finally Thailand.
it was a slightly adventurous trip there - we ended up with a shared taxi and change twice but finally there. the best was still there, it basically a "home stay" was. all three meals we ate together with the family in the house. It was divine, traditional Thai food! sooo delicious to eat! while we still can talk well with reinato. He told us a lot about Thailand and the current political situation. next day we started after breakfast (with a cat as a guest) to trek with reinato! and his friend. We walked over fields where the people worked. arrived in Karen village we went to the Catholic worship! for dinner at reinato we learned that his neighbor is a musician. ado, he took us to him, as we expressed interest and were there offered an excellent concert! in addition, the uebersaetzung each song text by reinato. -What more could you want! the historical / philosophical texts and the music has us very well liked and we bought a cd with autograph:)

sooo, after muang ngam we took the bus south to chiang dao. because we had no plan, we will drive that hostel because we had no map, we are with our (now) losgestiefelt monsterkraxen. We followed signs to a bamboo hut shortly afterward.
