huhu:)
after our visit with Laura and Anita's went to Battambang the next day with the boat to Siem Reap! there there it all touristy, who travels to Cambodia to one to marvel at the wonders of the world - Angkor Wat! But first
first boat to. We drove all along the river 6h and it was fantastic! it was a wetland with an incredible diversity of fish and birds. Martin was photographed at hard to stop ..;) marshes, ponds and dense gestruep alternated. and from the roof of the boat was wonderfully promising. we always drove past villages that were in the water and swam, as we have already seen the Mekong delta in Vietnam, in similar range. It is always a shrill idea that people live in floating houses and make not just have a quiet walk in the garden can. even the swimming pig stall on the river! .. But is an easy work, because then you can be home just boot with the trail behind:) the we have seen indeed!
we, as in siem reap arrived in the port, stormed boat suddenly a bunch of tuk tuk drivers to ours! everyone wanted us to go with him into the city! all scrambled to get our luggage ..
it went very quickly that we ended up in a nice hostel. the award was simply untopbar! -3US dollar we paid for our room per night. Although we did not have a bad bed and only a small, but for the price fits your wonderful;) with the tuk tuk driver to take us into the hotel did we negotiated the price and conditions for the next day. we agreed at 15 with sunrise and sunset dollar. We visited the night market in Siem Reap and were very enthusiastic. a very quiet, cozy atmosphere and gave each lot to buy it there. :)
next morning we were up at 4:30 clock in time for the sunrise at the temples in Ankor to be. It was insane how many people at this time of the same plan as we had. our tuk tuk driver who drove us the whole day from temple to temple, brought us initially to a small temple near a lake. there were waiting for children, books, postcards, flutes, t-shirts and jewelry for sale wanted. all talked to the tourists and pursue them. give it rest until you have actually bought something, or cuts off in flight. we were talking about a girl at a coffee that was in that early hour worth gold! the temple are simply breathtaking. 1000 year old tombs of the archeologist slowly be freed from the jungle. the time of the Khmer Rouge was not for the temple of advantage in this time rages the "communists" in the temples and destroyed a lot, because they were against any kind of religion. time to run full speed on the reconstruction work. Ankor Wat temple and some other can thus be seen again. determine
the evening we went back to Siem Reap, where we had to suffer that Chrissis ton mobile no longer exists on its own. that was a stressful situation, because that was our alarm clock and our clock, the next morning we had to get out early to get the bus, we RASST evening through Siem Reap and actually found a shop where you could buy alarm clock. :) Somehow we had more luck, because in the night made the mobile phone by a spontaneous self-healing. :) Now we have 2 alarm clock! 6h
the bus trip from Siem Reap took us to Kampung Cham. from there we wanted to go further north to absolutely anything, unfortunately, went on that day no more buses. The same three Frenchmen had before, so we decided to hire us to a taxi driver. 5 + to taxi drivers, we went to huckligen pissed to democracy. 4 people were sitting back, although it was tight, but super funny. the French were not slow and it was a lot of laughter. the landscape after democracy was absolutely great and we snapped from the car of the people in the villages. Our taxi drove in not defined anywhere in the modder, but some men from nearby "bore" us with, together with the taxis back out, that was really the madness. we gave them a dollar and they were very happy. Late afternoon we arrive tired but very happy, this made cab ride to have democracy. we checked all 5 in a guest house and hired our taxi driver again to put us in a good to bring in the Mekong, where you can watch the river dolphins. which then was still really stressful, because the sunset was in full swing. but again we were lucky. 3 dolphins showed us. that was very impressive. :)
the taxi driver wanted to sleep in his car and leave the next day back home. But we invited him into our guest house. He agreed and after some hick hack for his cars and a secure car park and our guest house owners, we found a good solution for everyone. with the 3 French and Sandra from the Netherlands, we have then dinniert evening and we were all from male spontaneously even french (name forgotten) invited. super sweet.
the next day we went by bus to Banlung. The buses will depart 12:30, but was delayed 2 hours. well, what the hell, for they were some nice people there and I passed the time of waiting quite fast. The bus was packed completely full with all sorts of things. our backpacks and suitcases of travelers were gestural appelt the hallway. we had like the monkey climbing around the bus to reach our seats. there were 10 tourists and 25 Cambodian in the bus. The atmosphere was very good. :) A few kilometers to the rear tire of the bus exploded directly below us. It was smoking and smelled in the bus. otherwise, fortunately nothing happened. the ticket checker and the bus driver changed the tire and put on the spare tire. Unfortunately this had no air. so we went at a snail's pace next to "workshop" to nowhere. it took 2 hours relaxed. there was the bus with only 2 jacks rear tire and jacked all eintfernt. The passengers were all outside and waited. suddenly there was a funny noise and then fell to the ground buss without wheels. a der wagenheber hatte den geist aufgegeben. oh man, war das eine panik. der ticketkontroleur lag noch unter dem bus. ein bein guckte hervor und alle leute fassten am bus an und versuchten ihn anzuheben um den begrabenen jungen mann zu befreien. wir dachten, er ist tot. so viele tonnen last auf diesen schmaechtigen koerper. martin stoppte 2 autos um hilfe zu bekommen. er fragte nach wagenheber und hospital. die leute im auto hatten aber so starke angst, dass sie gas gaben und abhauten. das war echt mies. wir schafften es den jungen mann hervor zu ziehen. und ja, er lebte und sah garnicht so schlecht aus. er hat nun sicher einige gebrochene rippen und quetschungen, aber er konnte laufen und etwas laecheln. wir gaben in paracetamol und schickten ihn mit einem auto zum naechsten arzt. but after about 1 hour he was there again, as with doctors in Cambodia is such a thing. So he had received no treatment and was packed into the buses. the repair of the bus pulled away. The sun was setting, and we bought a touristy tea and coffee pot and exchanged experiences in this circle journey. yes, and then went to ride on. the roads were getting worse and worse, were only schl; ammpisten and bus width. right and left branches lashed to the bus window. that was really crass. to sit so long in the buss and ever to ride in the pampa. now and then we saw stuck in the mud truck's left off. some have been pulled from other truck's other people just stood there and waited for help. About midnight we reached then totally tired but clean happy that us and the kontroleur nothing worse happened, Banlung.
yes, and here we are pretty much the last bit of Cambodian people and enjoy nature and love us.
soon
chrissi and martin
