greets you love her:)
we have to leave the orphanage .. and the parting was very hard! the second last day was again full of real upsetting. zunaechts we visited the Toul Sleng museum in Phnom Penh. that is the former prison for prisoners of war during the Khmer Rouge era. you gotta get you imagine how a similar kz. .. Just some more cruel when the going at all .. It was so bad that we can not write here. We have but a biography of a survival eden purchased from this time and who may have interest, then the happy times borrow from us. It is indescribable, because what was happening in Cambodia between 1975 and 1979.
to the museum brought us Bonna (our boss) from the museum. sat in the car, a new child and his father, which she had just picked up from the hospital. The boy has already lost his mother, who died of AIDS. His father is also suffering from HIV and is no longer safe to live long. Therefore, the father decided his son to bring us into the home. .. It was sooo sad! there sits a small 8 year old boy sick with his dad, knowing that both always have to leave soon for another. has taken us completely.
the young has become the lucky on the first day along well with other children and will hopefully soon feel comfortable in his new home.
on the same evening, when we were just a little of the bad and sad impressions of the day had recovered and cozy with laura and anita our last night doused with ginger and white wine, called from her room suddenly Bonna help!
Laura ran to her and found her in her room lying on the floor and gasping for air. very quickly the entire center was awake and all ran in panic through the region. laura, martin and I tried to make people the quickest possible clear that urgent Bonna go to the hospital. probably it was a stroke or heart attack because Bonna suffers from high blood pressure. after 30minutes well the car was finally ready to drive in the yard and we went to eight at the time about the muddy paths hucke hospital. after 1 hour we finally reached the hospital and it is almost a miracle that we are not in the huge mud holes are stuck in the night.
Bonna came immediately to the spill, which was brutally rammed her from a nurse in the arm. (Because the vein was only sought when the needle stuck in it already by rumgewuergt was tidy with her arm in bonnas) .. a doctor was not in sight and no one else seemed in the hospital so real cause of their suffering with the to employment. The conditions were really bad in the hospital! at least they stayed the night there for observation and was not allowed by our gardener from the eye. the rest of us went completely finished, but relieved that it Bonna something better, back in the center.
was called after this short and exciting night there on Friday morning to say goodbye then! the cook gave us a wonderful breakfast even without fish (rice with egg)! was to say goodbye, much harder than expected, as some children and employees even began to cry. everyone was so nice, thanked us and asked when we would come back for now. that made us not to just go easy .. It is madness that we in the 3 weeks so were closed to the heart of many! It's nice to know that we are there at any time welcome:)
after we have another round kicked tic tac for the children, went out pretty quickly and we sat with Laura, Anita and a few other employees in the car to Phnom penh. after about 2km then happened exactly, what we have been fortunately spared the night before .. we were stuck in the mud and the car slid into a muddy ditch properly. yeah! Cambodia was the best!! So we all got out and pushed the car around like crazy in vain .. as we gave up, came to the lucky another car, which we then pulled out after much back and forth again. .. And I (Christy) was sitting on the wheel;)
arrived in Phnom Penh we went to the hospital to Bonna, because they should be picked up. but it was still totally weak .. they told us that they thought would die. However, it was the thought of a child to endure in the orphanage (their foster son) by virtue of that. what exactly was wrong with her, she did not .. but still we hope so much that they will quickly correct health and stuff does not happen again. in Cambodia it is really lost, what if one has serious, because the health system is so bad.
after Bonna was invited to the car, we were in the city let out at Yee's house. we "checked out" with Laura and Anita in the office of the KKEV one; where we spent the night. It was only on the Russian market, where we tidy clothes and then dusted with yee in the most flagrant luxury hotel to the salsa-night. where we have more or less felt weird because there were a bunch of overdressed people there who smelled money. was bissl much for us, but where seen on the road so much misery.
next morning we went with Laura and Anita travel further on! We drove 5 hours by bus to Battambang, and reached our goal at noon. We found a nice little room where we had four of space and decided to go to the bambootrain!
with the motorcycles we went 6km to the tracks. there, the train was ready - a bamboo-slatted easily removed with axes and diesel engine. kambodschner use this still from the French colonial period created tracks for their transportation services for the agricultural hazardous pass (available in Cambodia's yes so many roads and bridges ni .. see google-map). for tourists is of course ne attraction, because it makes a lot of fun on this crazy thing langzuflitzen these old tracks:) were bursts of railway tracks as crazy already badly from their original position so that there is evil Rummy! juhuuuu;!) and is the top-hit that one against traffic in the bamboo-train from the tracks to lift it, so that others can pass. However, if one is loaded heavier than the oncoming traffic, then the his "train" stand out from the tracks. really funny reaction!
feasts in the evening we are on the Christmas market in Battambang. Unfortunately, we could eat but enjoy our half because there were an incredible number of people at our table begging. Anita gave her remaining eat a small boy with a hungry stomach on the plate staring .. lauras rest eat ended up in the belly of a hungry girl. this is a bitter aftertaste Cambodia ubiquitous and has repeatedly made us create.
this morning we watched the two of Battambang still bissl and landed here for a while in a temple, where we live and a nice moench rumfuehrte us a lot of its told.
was called at noon, it will again say goodbye: ( .. Had da namely Laura and Anita again heading back to Phnom Penh to the center, where they are still working until mid-December. that was very sad because we had four of ne really good time. the beautiful is that we can be sure the two to see them again, because both come from Germany so. and Munich and Freiburg are always times a journey:)
yeah, we are now back just between us! our journey continues, we must realize, however, has yet to correct. after all we have left behind a new family.
anyway - we look forward to what comes, because it is definitely exciting! "In Asia we need only one out of the house . Go and you see things that you have never seen before "(quote anita) are pressured
love to see you soon, martin
and chrissi:!)
