small excerpts from the life of the Vietnamese
Hello dear ones,
for all those, who would like to learn something about the life of the Vietnamese can I now say only: read more! :)
There is, for example, the young join out in Ninh Binh (near Hanoi), the name we have forgotten, so we call him times Ha. Ha has a small hostel with budget accommodation, stop off at the many backpacker. Ha is very nice and accommodating. His prices for rooms, food and the likes are very cheap. He ueberfaellt the travelers immediately with a map of the area. Is funny: he tells nothing of Ninh Binh and the City. after 10 min. Conversation he tries every backpacker a bus ticket for a luxury bus aufzuschatzen. And he believes that the best and cheapest way is to travel on. He says although there are friendly: "It's up to you!" We have then some time in the city rumgeforscht as bus fares are so because the bridge to the 700 km to Hue. And who lo and behold, the span was 100.000Dong to 490.000Dong. Ninh Binh is a small place and so many travelers stay max. 2 days, because not much time for price comparison. The luxury bus to our hostel would have cost 290.00, and who look, the more reasonable prices but then was only 180,000! That is a blatant thing. $ 6 extra cash for the sale of a Busstickets. Ha often seemed very tired and tense. He work very hard and on the last day we found out that he was a millionaire, that is in dollars! This money he will have earned in large part by his little scam. He is building a luxury hotel to see now the big fish to go ashore. His Busticketmasche works great. We trusted him because his prices are usually more than fair, lubricate a super lot soaped and you if you come from the North is pleased to finally meet nice people. The location is also perfect its hostels. It lies between the train station and bus station just outside the city. Ha way to start the new arrivals from right there and lures her to his hostel. Somehow Ha so clever. But when the misery on the streets one sees and how he was so ill-gotten wealth to be, that's really a blatant thing. In Hue we met
Tri, he is the motor biker and his job is to drive the tourists through the area and what they show of his area and to tell. Tri available at each incoming bus and tried to lure the tourists in a hotel, according to the wishes of the tourists. "He knows his way around here is grown up!" In our case, he has promised us a hotel for 6Dollar, but at the reception they would then 7Dollar. Tri paying the dollar from his pocket. He is "freelancers" and has nothing with the hotels in the hat, that's awesome, because he makes himself fully to work to lure guests to the hotel. He offers tours of 1-7 days. We have decided to make us a one-day tour with him into the countryside around Hue. Tri may very well speak English, so he taught himself so in dealing with the tourists. He is 40 years old, his wife is a dressmaker, but the business is very bad, so they almost leben.Er only of his money also has a daughter whom he loves very much. A son he wants yet, but currently "can not afford it themselves!" The day trip cost us each 210.000Dong. Of fuel per liter of 17,000. He drove about 60km (3-4L/100km) around with us and pay a meal costing 25.000Dong. Since you can calculate you yes me, how many because this is the day trip left. Tri is a frustrated but very honest man as a child he was very poor (father is a farmer) and often had to go hungry. Often 2 meals with pure rice. As motorcyclists, he deserves better. And he means when he has the chance, he runs away from Vietnam. Z: "For ever!" Europe and Australia, he finds it most appropriate. The war he felt was very traumatic and He is happy that there is peace and Vietnam has the opportunity to develop. Tri has only an identity card. A passport has virtually no Vietnamese! Thus, they only come to Laos and Cambodia. This is really crass. People see the world, captured from the television and the Internet in the country. Tri has no bank account and he has too little money. Banks have very strict requirements for their customers. Tri smokes a lot and also drink pretty good, a sign of his frustration. (?) He likes the tourists give them money and build the country's economy (Hotel, Restaurant, Guide). Vietnam and its people also learn from the foreigners. But the tourists are seen primarily as a donor. We have actually ever even seen Sun Tri working really hard for his money and we hope that he can set up thanks to the income a slightly better life and enlarge his family.
Doan from Dalat is a tourism student and speaks very good English. With him and Son we have made a one-day motorbike tour of the surrounding area (a little extra money for the study). Doan has learned a Freu Dion know about the Internet. She lives in Saigon and thus it is very hard for both bridge to the 300 km distance often. Every 3 months is enough money and the time that they can see. Doan is a very well-read young man (23 years), he tells us much about the history and culture of Vietnam. Also, he knows a lot about Germany. He would prefer also left the country in order not to have to live so poor. Europe and America he finds very attractive. His girlfriend is very haeuslisch, so he should not later when he married in 2 years, moved to Saigon. Doan also has a bank account and passport, which he finds very frustrating. He is a stranger to very positive. If he just has not come, then he would like to experience and share knowledge with the stranger in his country. Student life also sees something different from us. Doan and studied 7 days by most of early (table 4 am) to evening (up to 22 pm). At lunchtime, there are interruptions to go to dinner and do homework and stuff. Doan would like to study next to the still more work do but time jobs are very hard to get. And full-time is simply not possible. In the evening from 22 pm then he does a lot of free time and then learned affairs until he falls into bed.
Son, Doan his friend, is also in his studies very hard clamped. He is still working on the market and sold fruits, and builds the stall up and down. He starts his day vs. 3-4 am and falls into bed vs. 23 pm. Son is due to travel and see other countries somewhat relaxed. He would like to work as an interpreter for English-Chinese in a Vietnamese company. He gets around in the world and can still build a life in Vietnam with friends and family. Son has to work really very much, for he has never had a girlfriend and says that he can not imagine taking the time to. That does not mean he does not yearn for a woman. He is also neatly on flirting, especially with the Europaeerinnen that he brings with him on his moped. Doan and Son have been in Vietnam our really great friends. They were so sweet, open and curious, that was simply beautiful.
manure (40) and his family in Ha Tien. Nam is a motorcycle mechanic and serviced immediately. We got to know the whole family on the road and we were in spite of the extreme language barrier very warm with each other. His wife, Lam, is a housewife and manure from driving and to Cambodia and cheap to buy bicycles, which he sold in Vietnam again. In time, the we spent at the family came, even people to repair to her scooter. The employments seems to run. The whole family is very interested in what regards foreigners. They are happy when you have common interests and also about the differences, we have a lot of laughter (eg food scraps to throw down on the floor). They look forward so much to show us their Vietnamese cuisine, that's really awesome. We were gemaesstet correctly. The grandparents died in the war, the parents are still alive. Dung hopes to work hard to bring himself and his family a better life. We will stay with this family in any case in a loose contact and track how their two children develop so and maybe it to help their children in a university to send overseas. But that is first a long way. The son is 7 months and the girl 3 years.
Ok, those were sometimes more or less deep insights into the lives of individual Vietnamese.
Stay Healthy in the freezing temperatures in Germany and see you soon.
Kind regards Chrissi and Martin
